One of the most important things you can do to avoid having a heart attack is eat heart healthy foods. There are certain foods that have amazing anti aging and longevity properties. Eating a heart healthy diet is easy and can years to your life.

10 Heart Healthy Anti Aging Foods

1) Flaxseed
Flaxseed is one food that you should be consuming every day. Flaxseed has 3 things that are good for your heart: fiber, lignans and ALA (Omega 3 fatty acid).
Tip: You should try to work flaxseed into your diet at least once everyday. Add flaxseed to breads and cearls, yogurt and salads.

2) Oatmeal
Oats in any form can help you lower bad cholesterol (LDL), helps regulate blood sugars.
Tip: Oatmeal is a great breakfast food that keeps you feeling full for hours. Try using oats instead of flour, use 1/3 instead of flour when baking.
